Bruce Alan Hart, 56, of Missoula passed away unexpectedly at Community Medical Center on Monday, July 22, 2019 due to heart failure.
Bruce was born October 23, 1962 in Sidney, MT to Bernard and Irene Hart. Bruce attended school in Sidney and graduated from Sidney High School in 1981. After high school he attended Northern Montana College in Havre, MT and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Diesel Technology in 1986. In 1987 he went to work for Long Machinery in Lewiston, ID as a Diesel Technician. He relocated to Missoula to work for Long Machinery as a Technical Communicator in 1999. In 2001, Long Machinery became Western States Equipment Company where Bruce continued to work as a Technical Communicator until his death.
Bruce was considered family to his co-workers and their families in both Missoula and Lewiston. Bruce made friends easily and never met anyone he couldn’t strike up a conversation with. His closest friends consider him more like a brother.
Bruce married Stephanie Richter and became a father to Autumn and Brad. Although they later divorced he continued to be an amazing father. In October of 2007 the true love of Bruce’s life was born - Miranda Ardele Hart. Bruce spent every moment in his life nurturing, loving, and being a father to Miranda. She was the focus of his life from the day she was born.
Bruce and his mom were very connected and talked every Sunday. Bruce and his dad were great white hunters and whatever Dad loved, Bruce loved too.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Irene Hart, grandparents Roy and Violet Burns, uncle and aunt Edward and Alma Burns, uncle John Ruegamer and cousin Von Burns.
Bruce is survived by his children Miranda Hart, Autumn Burns and Bradley Burns, brother Dan Hart, aunt Cathy Ruegamer, and cousins Jerry Burns and Tanna Ruegamer.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to AniMeals.

I met you through the face of a tragedy. You were always so positive and caring. I was instantly impressed by your calm collected demeanor. Throughout the years though our visits were brief and always involved our kids, you had this way of making people laugh. You were an amazing dad and your love for Miranda showed over and over. Though I didn’t necessarily know you well Bruce I admired your dedication to Miranda and those you cared for. I will Miss our quick visits and jokes. May you Rest In Peace and May your daughter carry on your legacy.

Every winter Bruce would plow my drive way and the top of our cul-de-sac, he was trully the most considerate neighbor one could ever have , am deeply shocked by his passing , I still look over to his home and think he is getting his take out food delivered , my entire family misses him , our street will never be the same without him and his beloved daughter visiting him and his pets. We wish Miranda all the best and only hope her memories of her great dad lives forever.
