LOLO ~ Arthur James Haskell, of Lolo MT, known to his friends as AJ, passed from this life peacefully at Community Medical Center on February 8th, 2021 with his wife Kathy by his side.
He was born on March 14, 1964 in California to John Henry Haskell and Mary Jean Cameron Haskell, the 4th of 4 boys. After High School, he enlisted in the US Navy where he served aboard the USS Belleau Wood. He was stationed in San Diego, CA.
Following his military service, his love for Montana drew him back to Missoula where he remained until his passing. He was employed at Montana Rail Link.
AJ was an avid Griz fan and loved the time he spent with his family cheering the Griz on. He also loved hunting, fishing, camping, and golfing, all activities he shared with his son Peyton. AJ was also known for being the neighborhood "Clark Griswold" and his Halloween and Christmas decorations were legendary.
AJ was preceded in death by his birth parents, John and Mary Jean Haskell; his Cameron parents Jack and Joanne Cameron; and his brother, Rob Haskell.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Gee and his son Peyton, his stepson Austin Blank; his mom, Nancy Cameron; his parents in law, Nancy and Charles Rodgers; his sister-in-law, Angie Christensen; his brothers, Jeff Cameron, Jon Cameron, Jack Cameron, Tom Haskell, Mike Haskell, and many nieces and nephews.
