Bernard Foshag

Bernard (Bernie) Foshag was born September 8", 1957 in Great Falls, MT and passed away January 27", 2026 due to a long battle of cancer. Bernie was born to William (Bill) and Mary Foshag. Second born child out of four brothers. Born in Great Falls, his family moved to Missoula, where he attended school. He met the love of his life Karen. They were married February 4", 2005 in Missoula. Bernie always had a passion for hard work. He spent over 40 years as a brick layer. Working with numerous people, until finally partnering with his older brother Bill. When Bernie wasn’t laying brick or block or even rock, you could find him in the mountains; either hunting or getting firewood with his daughter Brittani. If it wasn’t hunting season, you could always find Bernie in the back yard with his family or fishing at Georgetown Lake. In August of 2020, the greatest joy of all was becoming a grandpa. Remmingtyn and him had each other wrapped around one an other's fingers. From taking her to and from school, or even playing outside, those two never had a dull moment. Bernie is proceeded in death by his parent William and Mary Foshag. Along with his younger brother Robert Foshag. Bernie is survived by his loving wife Karen Foshag, daughter Brittani Foshag, granddaughter Remmingtyn Gibson, and last but not least his dog Ozzie. A celebration of life for Bernie will be held on Sunday February 8", 2026 at 1pm at Garden City funeral home.
