Bert A. Cramer

Bert passed away Jan. 10, 2015, to be with Dorothy, his wife of 62 years. Dad went peacefully (surprise) with his family surrounding him.

Bert was born Sept. 20, 1925, in Helena to Ida M. and Egbert Cramer. Great-grandpa said NO to being Egbert Jr.

Bert was raised and schooled in Helena and served in both France and Germany during World War II, briefly attending Carroll College when he returned home.

Dad was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; his parents; brothers, Mike and Dave; and cousins (more like brothers), Jack and Robert Austin. Dad is survived by his sons, John (Moira) and Scott (Brenda); daughter, Jenny; grandson, Sean (Lea) and granddaughter, Kyla (Brad); great-grandchildren, Ethan, Isabella and Addie; brothers, Hank, Gary and Tom; and sisters, Pat, Violet and Ethel.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial for friends and family is planned for late spring or early summer.
