Beverly Joyce Doucett

Beverly Doucett, 89, of Missoula passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026 at St. Patrick Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2026 at Blessed Trinity Catholic with a reception to follow. Burial will follow the reception in the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.

Beverly Joyce Doucett, daughter of Murray and Ada (Feight) Ferguson, was born February 4, 1937 in Troy, Ohio. She graduated from Troy High School in 1955. Bev met the love of her life, Raymond Doucett, at a roller rink in Troy. The couple was united in marriage on October 30, 1957. The couple moved to Missoula in 1959. Bev worked as a paralegal in a law office, a secretary for St. Anthony Catholic Church and a teacher’s aid at both Hellgate and Sentinel High Schools.

Bev was a member of the St. Anthony’s choir before becoming a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church later in life. She enjoyed tap dancing and skiing in her younger years. Bev was a talent seamstress and made clothes for her three children, throughout their childhood. She loved feeding her family and having a full dinner table. Bev also loved shopping for herself but also for her whole family. Above all else, she was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bret Doucett; Brent Doucett; Bonnie Doucett; step-grandson, Coltin Wevley; brother, Ronnie (Jeannie) Ferguson; extended family and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Murray and Ada Ferguson and her husband, Raymond Doucett.
