Brenda Jean Nixon

Brenda Jean Nixon, 80, of Missoula, went to meet Jesus on

Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Village Healthcare of natural causes.

She was born on September 17, 1942 in Miles City to

Wesley and Claudia Lausch. She was one of 7 children. She

grew up in Plevna and Ismay, and worked as a soda jerk early in

life, then attended community college in Miles City. She

worked later as a secretary for many companies throughout her

life. She met and married Robert Nixon in Wooster, OH in

1967. They had 3 children in 12 years.

Despite many obstacles and challenges, Brenda did her

best to care for her three children including her daughter

Rochelle, who lived with Huntington’s disease. Brenda enjoyed

playing bingo, card games and doing crossword puzzles,

spending time with the Missoula newcomer’s club, her family

and friends. She was devoted to her church and gave of herself

and her finances very sacrificially. She was very devoted to and

loved the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her daughter(Rochelle),

her husband(Robert), her father(Wesley), her mother(Claudia),

her brother(Jerry) and sister(Myrna). She is survived by her

siblings Douglas(Libby), Lana, Valis(Gayle), Jade, two sons

Rodney(Tara), Randy(Darci), grandchildren Brett, Tianna, Zoey,

Sydney, Sophie and Logan and several great grand-children.
