Catherine E. Rapp

Catherine E. “Cathy” Rapp, 81, passed away on February 2, 2024 at Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula. Cathy was born on October 15, 1942 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to John and Clara (Autrey) Almand.

Cathy was an avid quilter and opened Seeley Lake’s first quilt shop; Cathy’s Quilt and Cloth. She expanded to a second store in Butte.

Cathy married Marvin Rapp and they spent 47 ½ years together.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, two older brothers and a younger brother. She is survived by her husband Marvin, son Matthew George, daughter Jerilyn Kelly and granddaughter Michaela Kelly.

Burial will take place at Seeley Cemetery on Friday, Feb. 9 at 11:00 with a Memorial Service to be held at 11:00am at Faith Chapel in Seeley Lake on Saturday, Feb. 10^th.
