David Hammer, 17, of St. Ignatius passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 20, 2022 in St. Ignatius. A Rosary service will be held 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2022 at the St. Ignatius Community Center. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2022 with burial in the Syn'yelmn Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.
David Hammer, son of David and Shawna (Schulz) Hammer, was born October 1, 2005 in Missoula, Montana. He attended schools in the Missoula area, lastly being Sentinel High School. David was known for his ability to light up a room and make everyone feel comfortable. He had a quick wit and was talented at being jokingly sarcastic. He loved to make family and friends laugh. He was a talented singer, artist and showed aptitude for cooking. He enjoyed volleyball, basketball, and of course “Cruisin” with his family in his free time. David was caring person who had an adventurous soul. Most importantly to David was his family and loved ones. He was a devoted son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend; his presence will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Shawna Hammer;Nunu Bobby Joe Schulz; siblings, Taneesha Schulz; Tarissa Plouffe; Robert Plouffe; three nieces, Alexandria Woods; Christine Woods; Eljionna Plouffe; two nephews, Andreae’s Woods; Johnathon Holcomb Jr; Cousins;Justina Schulz,Kaylee Schulz,Alissa Schulz extended family and a host of friends.
David was preceded in death by both sets of his Grandparents,Francis Durgeloh; JoAnn (Lumpry) Durgeloh;Arullia Michell;Dennis Hammer; father, David John Hammer; uncle, Nunu-Timmy Schulz; brother, Eljin Schulz.
