Dennis Eugene Conner

Dennis Eugene Conner, 84, of Missoula, Montana, died on December 24, 2025, in Missoula, of natural causes.

Dennis was born on July 11, 1941, in Corvallis, Oregon, to Henry Conner and Lois Webb Conner. His father died when Dennis was young, and he was raised by his mother, Lois, who supported her four sons while working for the U.S. Postal Service.

He graduated from Philomath High School in Philomath, Oregon, in 1959 and later attended Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Dennis valued education and remained a lifelong learner. He developed an interest in computers and technology well before they became commonplace, an interest that informed both his work and volunteer service over the years.

Dennis served in the United States Army.

In the early 1990s, Dennis married Jessie Conner. Though it was not the first marriage for either, they remained married for more than three decades until his death.

Dennis was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene in Missoula, Montana. During his involvement there, he served several roles, including technology specialist and administrative assistant. He obtained pastoral certification and participated in ministry to shut-ins, elderly members, and others in the community.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Henry Conner, and his mother, Lois Webb Conner.

He is survived by his wife, Jessie Conner of Missoula, Montana; his brothers, Ralph Conner and his wife Linda of Philomath, Oregon, Michael Conner of Beaverton, Oregon, and Daniel Conner of Star, Idaho; his daughters, Denise Conner of Salem, Oregon, Diane McCullough of Salem, Oregon, and Christine Hamblen of Wilsonville, Oregon; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all residing in Oregon; his uncle, Robert Webb and wife Carolyn of Corvallis, Oregon; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
