With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mom, Diana Royce Gage, who passed away peacefully the evening of July 18, 2026. Born on December 29, 1946, in Concord, California, Diana touched the lives of many during her vibrant 79 years.
Diana's journey began at Mt. Diablo High School, where she cultivated her love for community and service. She spent her early days as a lifeguard at the local city pool, sharing her spirit of joy and care for others. Her professional career in banking spanned decades until her retirement.
Diana's heart expanded with her marriages to John Moore, with whom she welcomed two beloved children, Jason David Moore and Amanda Sue Moore, who preceded her in death. Her family continued to grow when she married Warren Oie, with whom she had four children: Wally, Annika, Jeffrey, and Katherina. She later married Harry Gage in 1999 who preceded her in death in 2016.
Her love of Jesus, and commitment to faith and community shone brightly as she dedicated herself to helping others through her involvement with Walk to Emmaus, Chrysalis, Bible studies, and Jesus Lunch. She faithfully attended Waypoint Church and the Ladies Luncheon Bible studies at Church at the Gates.
Diana's kindness knew no boundaries; she sponsored children in Africa, housed exchange students, maintained cherished relationships with the recipients of her daughter Amanda's organs, and has supported countless Hellgate students with food and care. Diana was a gentle, loving woman who found her greatest joy surrounded by family and friends.
Diana is survived by her son Wally Oie and his wife Morgan Oie, their children William "Liam," Ialen, Thor, and Temperence; Annika Wells and husband Jay Wells, along with their son Felix; Jeffrey Oie; Katherina Oie and her husband Esia Nobles, their children Genova, Loki, Hartley, and Astraea; and step-children Harry Gage Jr. and LeaAnne Metcalf, along with her husband Bobby Metcalf Jr. and LeaAnne's children Michael Gage and Anthony Priolo. She is survived by one younger brother, David Scearcy.
In addition to her children and husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Pauline and Richard Searcy, and brother Tim.
Diana was buried next to her children at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Missoula.
A celebration of Diana's life will take place Saturday, September 12 at 2:00 pm at Waypoint Church located at 1100 S Higgins Ave. Family and friends are invited to gather as we honor her legacy of love, compassion, and service to others.
Diana's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
