Obituary

Eden Rose Nordwick was born in her home on June 17th at 3:10pm.

She arrived head up with her hand reaching toward the sky. Through the hands of a midwife to her astonished father and immediately onto the chest of her loving mother.

She screamed with strength. Her song of life.

Eden was beautiful. Eden was peaceful. She had a gaze that pierced into you, both calming and melting your heart.

Eden loved to be with her family. Her mother attentive to her every need. Feeding her from her body. Waking to her every sound. Changing her every diaper with care and love. Showering her with love always.

Her brother loved her tremendously. Through pregnancy, helping with all the checkups and listening to her heartbeat - even doing his own check ups on mommy and sissy with his toys.

His eyes lit up when he first held her and every time after. His Sissy. His Edie girl. Brother’s got you, he would say every time he held her.

Her father in love with her from the start. The eternal type of love.

Eden passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 7th, 2026.

Eden was preceded in death by an older sibling. She is survived by her mother, Amanda Steffes, her father, Josh Nordwick, and her brother Robert Nordwick. She is survived by all four of her grandparents, Kelvin and Patricia Nordwick Robert and Brenda Steffes, her aunts, Jen, Kendra, Dani and Bethany, her uncles, Brian, Nick, Marshall and Scott, and her cousins Chloe, Eliana, Royce, Huck, Macie, George, Milo and Todd. All of whom loved her deeply.

There will be a service to celebrate Eden’s life on Monday, July 13th at 11am at Garden City Funeral Home.

Eden Rose Nordwick. Entrusted into the hands of God. May her memory be eternal.
