Fern E Gallagher

Fern (Toots) E. Gallagher, 94, of Missoula passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2017.

She was born Aug. 30, 1923, in Missoula, attending school there and marrying Alvin Gallagher on Oct. 11, 1946.

She loved summers spent at Lake Mary Ronan and in later years going for rides and time spent with family and friends. She loved her family and the many dear friends she had.

She was preceded in death by her husband Al, daughter Judy Larsen and son Larry Gallagher. Also preceding her in death were her parents Ernest and Lorene Taylor, brothers Harry, Ernest and Bryon and sisters Betty Fristo and Joyce Cadieux.

She is survived by her children, Donna Putnam, DelRose Jacobsen and Randy (Linda) Gallagher and 10 granchildren and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Dale and Howard Taylor and sister Faye Gordon of Virginia.

Garden City Funeral Home is handling arrangements. No services are planned at this time.
