Gerald Daniels, 93, of Kalispell passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the Immanuel Living Retreat in Kalispell. A burial with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery in Missoula. Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.

Gerald William Daniels, son of Arthur and Dorothy (Williams) Daniels, was born February 2, 1932 in Endicott, New York. After graduating high school and working a few years, Gerald enlisted in the United States Army. He was stationed in Verdun, France during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged. Gerald continued his education and obtained a degree in Applied Science. He met the love of his life, Lorraine Audrey Pickert, and the couple was united in marriage on June 18, 1954 in Berkshire, New York. Two children were born to this union. Gerald worked for IBM for 33 years as an engineer, holding positions in New York and Colorado before moving to Tennessee after retiring.

Gerald and Lorraine enjoyed traveling together across the United States and abroad. The family also enjoyed camping and spending time at the Finger Lakes in New York. Both Gerald and Lorraine enjoyed skiing in their earlier years. In his free time, Gerald enjoyed oil painting and bronze sculpting, creating many family heirlooms. Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 70 years, Lorraine Daniels; son, William (Judith) Daniels; four grandchildren, Katelynn Berel; Eric (Beth) Streeter; Sonja Streeter; Elizabeth Parrigon; three great grandchildren, Easton Parrigon; Fischer Parrigon; Ella Berel; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dorothy Daniels; daughter, Carol Streeter; son-in-law, Stephen Streeter; and brother, Richard Daniels.
