Geraldine “Jerry” Barbara Gale, 99, of Missoula went home to Jesus on June 29, 2025, after living a very long, fearless, adventurous life and leaving a void that cannot ever be filled. She lived her life rooted in faith, devoted to Christ, and guided by the teachings of the Holy Bible. Jerry was a woman of unwavering faith and whose love radiated through every aspect of her life.
A celebration of her beautiful life will be held at Crosspoint Community Church on July 12, 2025, at 10:00 am., where we will gather to honor her memory and rejoice in the promise of everlasting life.

Geraldine “Jerry” Gale, daughter of Ronald and Gladys (Glidewell) Smith, was born June 14, 1926 in Hamilton, Montana. She attended schools in the Hamilton area and graduated from Hamilton High. She continued her education at the Business College in Missoula. After college, she was part of the Rosie the Riveter legacy. Jerry was united in marriage with Glen Osburn and two sons, Randy Osburn and Terry Osburn, were born to this union, the couple later separated. She was later united in marriage with Robin Williams and her daughter, Monique Williams, was born to this union. Jerry began her career in Idaho working for the Atomic Energy Department. Some years later, Jerry worked in Washington, DC as a Program Analyst. She worked on many highly classified projects. Jerry was very proud of her 34-year career working for the United States Government.
Jerry’s true pride and joy was her family. After Jerry retired, she moved back to Hamilton to take care of her parents. She was very involved in raising her granddaughter, Brittany, and was extremely proud of her accomplishments. Jerry was a member of Lillys of the Valley singing group and sang as a high soprano. She was also a member of the sorority group Beta Sigma Phi, Montana Lambda Master Chapter in Hamilton. Jerry loved to travel and lived in Paris for two years. She was a talented skier and golfer. Jerry was a woman of class. She was an amazing cook, who loved to entertain, and had an innate knack to elegantly display her cooking. She also enjoyed arranging flowers, especially during the holidays. Above all else, she was the most loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed.
Everyone who met Jerry knew immediately that she loved the Lord and called on the Holy Spirit.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Monique (Mike Pfau) Berry; granddaughters, Brittany Berry; Cara Kaizer; great grandson, Luca Webb; extended family and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Gladys Smith; and sons, Randy Osburn in infancy; and Col. Terry Osburn.
