Ivan Maksimovich Chinikaylo, 86, passed away Wednesday March 1, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones in the comfort of his home, in Missoula.
He was born on November 22, 1936, in all, Olshany, Belarus, to Maksim, and Anna Chinikaylo.
On October 26, 1980, he married Olga Stepanovna Pasyuk in Olshany, Belarus. They had five children together. They lived there until they moved to Missoula in 1990, where they raised their children and made their home.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, spending time with God in prayer, reading the Bible and regularly attending church services. Ivan was a God-fearing man. A faithful servant, who devoted his life to God and tell his last dying breath. He was a kind hearted, loving father, beloved grandfather, dedicated, husband, caring uncle, and loyal brother.
Survivors include his wife, Olga, Of Missoula; three sons, Stepan, Maksim, and Nikolay Chinikaylo; two daughters, Vera Chinikaylo, and Anna (Suprunchik) Chinikaylo, nine grandchildren; Angelica, Nick, Emma, Michael, Adriana, Alex, Mirabella, Aviana, and Olga.
there will be a public vigil Tuesday night, March 7, 2023. At Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory. There will be a funeral at Garden City Funeral Home on Wednesday March 8, 2023, immediately followed by a Graveside service at Missoula City Cemetery.
