Jack Elmo Triplett, 80, of Thompson Falls, Montana died peacefully on April 3, 2026, at St. Patrick Hospital.
Born September 13, 1945, in Rolla, Kansas to Jack and Norma Triplett. Jack was raised in Rolla, Kansas, Plains, Kansas, Portland, Oregon, and Canon City, Colorado. Jack left high school to enter the Navy in October of 1962 and was Honorably discharged in 1964. Soon after he married his wife of 57 years until her passing in 2021.
Through his favorite Uncle, Bill, Jack began learning the Plumbing trade in Gunnison, Colorado. He and Judy also lived in Libby, Montana where he worked on the construction of The Libby Dam. In 1970 they adopted their only child. They lived in Lake Elsinore, California where he and his brother Rocky owned and operated a plumbing company. Jack and his family then moved to Thompson Falls, Montana where he lived and operated his business for the past 44 years.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; his wife, Judy; brothers Bobby and Rocky; and a nephew Tony. He is survived by his daughter Shawna Chenoweth (Darrell), of Thompson Falls; his grandson Garrett Reinschmidt (Lindsay), of Kalispell; his sister Sherry Callahan (Tom) of St. Goerge, Utah; nieces Ashley Triplett; Rhianna Blair (David) and great niece Isabella; all of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Nephew Mike Ward (Rewa) of Boulder, Colorado; and last but not least, his loyal dog companion, Rocky.
Jack was surrounded by his family and loved ones as he prepared for his transition. He knew he lived a prosperous life and was ready “to see what beauty the other side would bring!” He joked he didn’t want to miss his tee time and cooler of beer with his brother Rocky!
In accordance with his wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, Jack requested a donation to a local animal shelter.
