John Lloyd Stone Jr., age 58, of Superior, Montana passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021. He was born on June 9, 1963, in Saratoga Springs, New York, to John Lloyd Sr., and Patricia Louise Seely Stone.
John attended church at Christian Heights Assembly of God in Sonora, California. He was in the United States Forestry Service and assigned to Mi-Wuk Village. He loved the outdoors and always had stories about his many adventures in the outdoors. John was also an avid Star Trek fan, a first responder, aircraft marshaller for fire planes, and model plane builder. He had a kind heart, always donating his time in service of others. He was loved by all.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Rhonda Stone; his parents, John Lloyd Sr., and Patricia Stone; three siblings, Renee Stone, Rachel Sparks, and David Stone; beloved sister-in-law and caregiver, Jacqueline Callison; two dogs, Little Foot and Yoda; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A family conducted graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Superior Cemetery with Pastor JR Thompson, from Lighthouse Baptist Church, officiating.
