Joseph Robert Meyer

June 1, 1979 — May 5, 2026

Joseph Robert Meyer, 46, of Drummond, Montana, passed away on May 5, 2026.

Joseph (Joe) was born on June 1, 1979, in Vancouver, Washington, where he lived most of his life before moving to Montana in 2023.

Joe worked as a Roadside Technician and truly loved his job. He took pride in being a hero to those in need and won prestigious awards showcasing his extensive knowledge and skill in his trade. Helping people on the side of the road came naturally to him because he genuinely loved taking care of others.

Joe was a computer whiz and self-taught genius. He built many close friendships online and was a loyal, deeply caring friend to everyone in his life. He loved and read thousands of audiobooks. He enjoyed his music loud with the bass at maximum levels, was an exceptional cook and BBQ rib extraordinaire, and was a huge animal lover who would have filled the house with dogs if he could. At his core, Joe was a rescuer - of people, animals, and anyone who needed help.

He had a passion for guns and shooting. Joe was a wealth of knowledge who somehow knew something about everything, yet remained incredibly humble. A man of deep integrity, honesty and loyalty came as naturally to him as breathing. He loved Jesus and lived with a big, precious heart. He was a self-proclaimed momma’s boy and loved his family fiercely.

In 2023, Joe moved to Montana to be with his wife and four new sons, embracing a new chapter surrounded by the family he cherished.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tami Meyer; his daughter, Ashley Campbell; his sons, Kevin Hilmo, Gavin Bryant, Haven Bryant, and Vernon Bryant; his three granddaughters, Annora Corzine, Amaris Corzine, and Juniper Corzine; his mother, Carol Meyer; his sisters, Corina Stokes [Ryan] Shelby Meyer, and Tarra Hudson; his Uncle, Jerry Meyer [Suzann]; his Aunt, Barbara Fuller [Pinky] many precious nieces, nephews and cousins; countless dear friends who were as close as brothers and sisters; and all the animals he loved so deeply.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 6:30 PM at Drummond Community Church in Drummond, Montana. Joe’s family will also hold a separate service in Vancouver, Washington, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you do a loving act of kindness in Joe’s honor.
