Judith "Judy" Harvey

Judith Ann (Balliet) Harvey, age 81, peacefully passed away on April 28th, 2025 in Missoula. Her memorial service will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 at 1:00pm at Garden City Funeral Home.

Judy was born on May 14, 1943 in Worland, Wyoming, to Franklin Jay Balliet and Claire (Bosserman) Balliet. The family moved to Missoula when Judy was in 6th grade. She attended school in Missoula and graduated from Sentinel High School. She then attended the University of Montana, graduating with a degree in Elementary Education in 1965. Judy was a teacher at multiple schools throughout her 30 year career, retiring in 2005 from Hellgate Elementary where she taught 2nd grade. Judy enjoyed gardening and singing for many years with Sweet Adeline. She volunteered St Pats Hospital and The Missoula Food Bank amongst others

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Henry of Redmond, Oregon, and her son Paul Marcus of Missoula. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Samantha, Allison, Lauren, & Eric.

The family is very appreciative of the staff and the compassionate care they provided to Judy from Case Management Care Giving, The Springs, and Hestia Hospice.
