Kathy Mobley

Kathy Jo Mobley (nee Staples), age 69, of Hall, Montana, passed away on April 2, 2024. She was born on June 21, 1954, in Philipsburg, Montana. Kathy was a beloved wife, survived by her husband Stephen Mobley, and thirteen children: Alice (Ryan) Brewer, Rachel (Tyler) Crumpley, James (Aimee) Mobley, Stuart (Chaney) Mobley, Mark (Julie) Mobley, William (Kylie) Mobley, Hannah (Philip) Bainbridge, Maria Brown, Natasha (Jon) Sundberg, Christopher (Bonnie) Mobley, Dajae Mobley, Monique Mobley, Jada (Kani) Haggerty, 54 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Staples, and mother, Kathryn Staples.

On September 6, 1974, she married Stephen Mobley in Logan, Utah. The couple lived in Colorado until moving to Idaho Falls, Idaho in 2003 and then to the family ranch in Hall, Montana in 2013.

Kathy loved teaching others, especially children. She dedicated her time to teaching music and various classes at the local school in Hall, Montana. Her passion for education and nurturing young minds will always be remembered.

As a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she also took great and loving care of her friends, Church and colleagues. She loved music, flowers, mountain drives, and life.

Kathy Jo Mobley was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, finding solace and community in her faith by serving others.

In honoring Kathy's life, a funeral service will be held on April 8, 2024 at the Drummond LDS church building, visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am, burial will follow at the Valley Cemetery.

Friends and family will gather to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of many.
