Kirsten Lori Williams

Kirsten Lori Williams, born June 10, 1968, in Norfolk, Virginia, died of melanoma Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at St. Patrick Hospital.

She leaves behind her longtime partner, companion and fiancé, Matthew Cosgrove, also of Missoula; her father and stepmother, Edwin "Jim" and Juliette Williams of Las Cruces, New Mexico; her mother, Mary Douglas and companion Michael Adler, and brother, Greg Williams, all of Beaverdam, Virginia; many friends and colleagues at Walmart on U.S. Highway 93 in Missoula; and many friends elsewhere.

She fought a relentless illness with great strength and courage, and no trace of self-pity. She was greatly admired and much loved.

A memorial gathering will take place at Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory, 1705 W. Broadway, on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 5 p.m.
