Larry L. Woll

Larry L. Woll, 74, of Missoula, Montana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

Born on August 7, 1951, in Missoula to W.F. and Mary Woll, Larry was a lifelong resident of the community he proudly called home. On November 20, 1972, he married the love of his life, Margie Hunt of Alberton. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and countless cherished memories over more than five decades of marriage.

From the time he was a young boy, Larry had a fascination with big trucks. What began as a childhood interest grew into a lifelong passion and career. He started driving at an early age and spent decades behind the wheel as a truck driver, logging countless miles across the highways. Larry took great pride in his work, and trucking wasn't just his profession, it was a way of life. After many years of dedication and hard work, he retired in 2025.

When he wasn't on the road, Larry treasured the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed spending time with family and his many friends, sharing stories and laughter, preparing meals for those he loved, camping, and casting a line whenever he had the chance to go fishing. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, friendly nature, and the deep love he had for his family.

Larry is survived by his devoted wife, Margie; his children, Christina and Kelly; his beloved grandchildren, Zack, Tristan, and Hunter; his sisters, Dolly Richardson, Linda Preston, Vicki Randles, and Valerie Schwartz; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and extended family members from both the Woll and Hunt families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, W.F. and Mary Woll.

Larry's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
