Lisa Marie Merritt-Baines
July 21, 1970 – Blessed Us All – September 17, 2024
Lisa went to heaven on September 17, 2024 in Missoula, Montana. She was surrounded by her son, husband, sister, mother, and best friends. Lisa was able to rocked out to her favorite music as she left us peacefully while being loved.
Lisa was the beautiful daughter of Dennis & Eva Merritt. She born on July 21, 1970 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She moved to Round Rock, Texas during childhood with her family and stayed there until she moved with her ride or die bestie for life, Sandy, to Seattle. Eventually Lisa settled in Missoula, Montana to raise her son Kyle and to be closer to her family. Shortly after which she met the love of her life Cory Baines.
Lisa was a sweet soul and if you knew her you would understand how blessed you were to have her in your life. She was a gorgeous, loving, kind, generous, accepting, trustworthy, loyal, and caring sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin and daughter.
Lisa was a beautiful kind soul who loved butterfly’s, the ocean, music, friends, rodeos, spicy food, loving people, fundraising, but most of all she loved all of her Nieces and Nephews to the moon and back.
She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary and was passionate about raising money and giving back to the community in any way she could. Her favorite charity is Tough Enough to Wear Pink, we ask that donations please be made there instead of flowers.
Lisa was a lifelong lover of live music and big hair bands (bring on the Aqua Net spray). We ask that you wear your favorite band or concert top to her Celebration of Life planned for September 29, 2024 at the Eagles. We will have lots of food but Lisa loved spicy food and in her honor we ask that you bring a spicy dish to share. We are expecting a large celebration as she was loved by so many people.
Her son, Kyle, will be creating an altar to transfer to her home as a place of peace to honor her. Please bring a note, trinket, or rock (y’all know she loved her rocks) to add to the alter to stay.
