Lois Nellda James

July 10, 1936 – May 20, 2024

Parents were Austin and Nellda Lee Dillree.

Family operated the Lone C Ranch in Helmville until 1944, then moved to Barbour’s, Montour Ranch.

Attended the one room Monture school through 8^th grade.

Lived in a small apartment in Missoula with her sister for four years while attending Hellgate High School.

Married David (Sonny) James in 1954. They enjoyed 57 “Wonderful Years” together.

Part of the ACM Logging Crew in Ovando and Thompson Falls from 1962 to 1982.

Retired to their beloved Blackfoot Valley, where it had all began.
