Lorraine D. Noyd, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully from this life on March 19, 2026, to be with the Lord. Known warmly to all as “Lorri,” she carried with her a gentle spirit defined by kindness, dedication, and an abundance of love. She will be deeply and forever missed.

In 1962, Lorri began her greatest adventure when she married Jerry Noyd. Together, the two built a remarkable life rooted in hard work and entrepreneurship. Starting with their first business, Akron Bakery, they went on to grow a thriving portfolio that included Cedar Lodge Motel, Tri City Grocery, and Days Inn Motel. In their later years, they expanded further with the Benetton and then three gift stores in the Missoula area. Lorri’s final chapter of work was spent at Kettle House at Missoula Airport, a place she enjoyed.

Beyond her business achievements, Lorri was a woman of deep passions. She had a profound and lifelong love for horses, finding her greatest joy in showing them throughout the years. She delighted in the outdoors, tending to her flowers, and above all, treasuring every precious moment spent with her grandchildren and family. Her devotion as a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend was the true measure of her beautiful life.

Lorri is lovingly survived by her son Martin (Sara) Noyd; her daughters Michelle Noyd and Colleen (Corey) Foust; her grandchildren Kyrie Halden, Cody (Kayla) Schaef, Keegan (Emily) Noyd, and Grace (Jake) Ayers; her great-grandchildren Ronan, Hunter, Riley Schaef, and Miley Noyd; as well as several cherished nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held in June.
