Missoula

Luke Hunter Noble, born on May 25, 2001, in Monroe, Washington, passed away on August 21, 2025, in Missoula, Montana. Luke was known for his unwavering honesty, empathy, and kindness, alongside a creative spirit that brought joy to those around him. He possessed a hardworking nature and was always ready with a sincere joke or story, which never failed to uplift the spirits of his family and friends.

A proud graduate of Drummond High School in Drummond, Montana, Luke excelled in both academics and the arts. He had a keen ear for music and demonstrated notable talent as a drummer. Luke found fulfillment in his career as an auto glass installer at Safelite. His dedication to his work was evident, as he loved what he did and approached each day with a disciplined, genuine enthusiasm.

Luke had a variety of hobbies and interests that enriched his life. He cherished fishing with his brothers in the boat he bought for them — joking that they took too long to get to the fishing hole. He also enjoyed playing video games, riding his motorcycle, and taking country drives with his Nan while listening to classical music. Time with family was especially important to him, as was the sharing of laughter and storytelling.

Luke leaves behind a loving family. He is survived by his father, Charles E. Noble (Carrie) of New York; his mother, Elizabeth N. McKague (Monte) of Hall Montana; as well as Andrea Mickelsen, who lovingly helped raise him during his childhood in Washington. He is also survived by his grandmother, Janet Wipfli of Hall, Montana; his grandfathers, John D. Noble of Macomb, Illinois, and Jon E. Wipfli of Portland, Oregon. Additionally, he is survived by his brothers: Cody Noble (Melody) of Clinton, Montana; Charles E. Noble, Jr (Asia) of Missoula, Montana; Monte L. McKague of Hall, Montana; Brady McKague of Hall, Montana; Dillon McKague of Hall, Montana; and his sisters, Cheyenne McKague of Hall, Montana and Tracy Daugherty of La Plata, Missouri. Luke also leaves behind beloved nephews Jonathan Noble of Clinton, Montana; Everett Noble and Ares Noble, both of Missoula, Montana; a niece, Jordan Noble of Clinton, Montana; an aunt, Jennifer Camacho (Dave); an uncle, David Wipfli; and cousins Mary Wipfli of Urbana, Illinois, and Alex Camacho of Massachusetts, along with numerous great uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Noble, and his special godmother and cousin, Betty Reed.
