Margaret Anne Johnson

On Monday December 26th, 2022 Margaret Anne Johnson passed away at St. Pats hospital where she worked as a Respiratory Therapist for over 17 years.

“Peggy” as she was called by family, was born on August 17th, 1947 in Hydeville, Vermont to James Andrew Dunn and Mary Kathleen Leamy. She grew up in Rutland, Vermont where she attended and graduated from Catholic School in 1965. 

Peggy married Army Sargeant Roy William Savage Sr. in 1968. Military life lead them to Alaska, Kansas, and Missouri before divorcing in 1976. Peggy moved to Missoula, with her two sons, to be near her sister Johann Dunn, since passed.  

She is survived by her two sons Roy William Savage Jr. (52) and Brian Michael Savage (50); 4 grandchildren: Seth, Ashley, Allyson, and Kim; and 4 grandchildren: Skyler, Paityn, Leland, and August.

Peggy has been cremated and, as per here wishes, will be spread at Twin Lakes this summer to dance the light fantastic with the love of her life, James Munson, since passed. A small “day of celebration” will be held for a small family and closest friends where we will laugh, cry, and say our final goodbyes and well-wishes.
