Marsha Kay Stende

Marsha Kay (Foster) Stende, 71, of Missoula, passed away on Monday Sept. 13, 2021, peacefully at Missoula Community Hospital.

Marsha was born in Colorado Dec. 26, 1949 to George and Betty Foster. When she was 18 years old she graduated from high school, got married and had her first child, George. She had three more children, Cindy, Lisa and David.

Due to hardships in Colorado the family moved to Ritzville, WA. Where she lived until her husband Victor Stende passed away from lung cancer. She moved to Belgrade MT. and lived with her older daughter Cindy. They then moved to and lived in Missoula.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, brother Del Foster and daughter Lisa Simonsen. She is survived by five brothers and a sister, her children George (wife Lazara), Cindy and David (wife Michele) . Grandchildren Kymberlee, Kannon, Kelley, George and great-grand-sons Malakai and Isaac.

Memorial services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Viewing is at 9:00 am, the service at 10:00 am followed by the graveside service. There will not be a reception afterwards.
