He was born December 24, 1963 to Marvin B. and Ramona R. Paulson, in Fairview Montana. As a child he lived with his two brothers and Mom in Sidney Montana. He attended Sidney Public Schools and made many lifelong friendships.
On September 13, 1986, he married Tina Iken in Sidney, and they moved to Missoula to further their education at the University of Montana.
He worked in IT at the University of Montana for Continuing Education and Online Learning for over 20 years, and he loved every minute of it.
Whatever he did, he did it with his whole heart. He loved working on cars, playing pool, wood working, and rebuilding computers. He was happy to share his research and knowledge with all.
He loved his wife Tina and their three children Elizabeth (Lyssa), Derrick, and Sarah. He wrote many letters to his Mom about how much he enjoyed being a Dad to Lyssa and Derrick when they were little. He tried to attend all their many activities and became a passionate cheer Dad for Sarah.
