Mayme Ann Hardie, age 78, of Missoula, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at St. Patrick Hospital due to natural causes. She was born March 9, 1947 to Tena and Iva Newby in Polson, MT where she grew up and attended High School.
On January 8, 1972, she married the love of her life, George Hardie, in Polson. She had two children from a previous marriage, Darrel and Nichole Andersen. The following year they became a family of five when Shawna was born. Her children were her whole world.
After attending beauty school, she had a small salon in downtown Missoula. She also owned Little Rascals Daycare for many years and was the best provider for so many kids that she loved dearly.
