Melissa “Misty” Ann Towsley

Misty Ann Towsley, 54, of Missoula, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, May 5th, 2025, at St. Patrick Hospital.

Misty was born on June 24, 1970, in Missoula. She grew up on the family ranch in Rock Creek, attending Clinton Elementary School, then graduating from Hellgate High School in 1987. She went on to graduate from the University of Montana with a degree in nursing. After working as a nurse for several years she quit nursing in 2008 to focus on raising her children.

While attending High School she met Frank Towsley who she would later marry. Misty and Frank married July 27, 1991, living in the Missoula area throughout their marriage, where they raised two children and shared countless adventures along the way throughout their nearly 34 years of marriage.

Misty is survived by her Husband, Frank Towsley of Missoula, Her two children, Amanda and Austin. Her mother, Cheryle Andrews, three brothers, Ray, Darren, and James. As well as many other family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Andrews, her grandparents Beverly and Joe Asbury, and her cousin Thomas Asbury. 

Service will be held at Garden City Funeral home in Missoula on May 15th, at 11:30am, with a reception to follow.
