M. Conrad Evoniuk

Aug 25, 1972 — May 23, 2026

Michael Conrad was born on August 25th 1972 to Michael L. Evoniuk and Jan E. Welch in Portland Oregon.

With a green thumb and a love for life and love for the outdoors. Conrad lived a life full of adventures.

A few of his adventures included crabbing, fishing, snowboarding, watersports, motorcross, and riding the dunes in his dune buggy. His recent favorite adventures were magnet fishing, gold prospecting, and treasure hunting with his metal detector. Conrad also enjoyed cooking, bonfire, playing his guitar, and writing his own music.

Conrad was brilliant and could fix anything. Bringing his ideas to life, he made inventions but never had the chance to sell them. Conrad was good at everything he did.

He enjoyed being around people, especially family and friends. He was a great friend and judged no one. He loved all of us more than we know. If you were a part of his circle then you were important to him.

Conrad was even a better dad and a son. His children and mother meant everything to him. He also adored his granddaughter. If life allowed him to be with them 24/7 then he would have made that happen.

Conrad used to say "It's all good", he lived his life defined by that phrase no matter what his situation was.

He will be remembered by his loyalty, love, friendly advice, sense of humor, his stories, love for life, and love for the outdoors. Conrad is deeply missed and forever will be.

He is survived by his mother Jan E. Welch (Dwayne Wade) , his daughter Michaela Evoniuk (Rhyan Langley) , their mother Leslie Crouch, his granddaughter Zayleigha Thompson (Nick Thompson) , his sons Brendon and Michael Evoniuk, his sister Jessica Caddigan, his brother Riuk Evoniuk, his aunts Jody Welch and Angela Haverly, his uncles Chad Evoniuk (Elizabeth and Lance) Matt Evoniuk, Tim Evoniuk, and Joey Evoniuk. And numerous cousins and cherished friends who were family in every way that mattered.

He was preceded in death by his uncles Scott Welch and Vince Evoniuk, Grandparents Conrad Welch and Joan Jones, and Grandparents Joe and Marie Evoniuk. The service will be held at a later date and will be posted on his facebook page (M. Conrad Evoniuk) at a later date.
