Minnie Summers

Minnie M. Summers of Missoula, Montana, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, at the age of 91. Minnie lived a life grounded in faith, kindness, and a deep love for her family and community. She was devoted to her church, where she found lasting friendship, purpose, and comfort throughout her life.

Minnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon Summers; her parents, Alex and Tilly Deitz; and her brothers Paul and Ervin. She is survived by her children, Camela Summers and Rick Summers; her sisters Paulie, Kathy, Shirley, and Mary Anne; her brother Peter; and many cherished nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, warm smile, and the care she offered so generously to everyone she met.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 12:00 noon, at Garden City Funeral Home with a graveside service at Sunset Memorial to follow. Family and friends are invited to gather in honor of Minnie’s life and legacy.
