Paul Francis Cheselske, 75, of Huson passed away surrounded by loved ones on Monday, November 3, 2025. Paul was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, January 15, 1950, to Frank and Alice Cheselske, the oldest of three children.

Paul graduated from Charter Oak High School in Covina, California. Served 28 years in the U.S. Navy, primarily in the submarine community. He served in the Vietnam and Desert Storm/ Desert Shield wars. Retired as Chief Warrant Officer 3 in 1997.

In his retirement years, Paul found peace and contentment in his 25 acres of forestland. His other interests were gardening, archery, guns, small gauge electric trains, and cooking. He was a tool man, “right tool, right job”. He was also an accomplished wood worker and builder.

Paul was the kind of man who defined himself by his work. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. He had the heart of a servant and philanthropist. All his life, family was center and as a husband, Paull was devoted to Jan, supporting her in all her endeavors and as a father, he was proud of his sons for the successes they achieved in their lives. Lastly, Paul was a man of deep faith serving valiantly in The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. It was this faith that carried him through the health struggles these past several years.

He is survived by his wife, Jan; sons, Jared (Patti) Cheselske; Paul (Nicole) Cheselske Jr.; sister, Karen (Richard) Motske and granddaughters, Gabrielle (Kyle) Olmos, Olivia Cheselske and Andrea Cheselske; great grandson, Sonny Olmos. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Cheselske; mother, Alice Cheselske and brother, David Cheselske.
