Paula Peterson

Paula Rae Peterson, 74, of Missoula, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at St. Patrick Hospital, After a 2-year Battle with cancer. She was born on January 31,1950, in Minot N.D., to John and Phyllis Richardson. She had moved to Montana in 1968 and met the love of her life, Jerry Peterson in 1971.They were Married Dec.28, 1971 in Missoula. Married For 52 years.

She loved the outdoors hunting, fishing for walleye, camping, 4 wheeling and gardening.

She was very passionate and talented in all her hobbies, quilting, rug hooking, needlework, crocheting and Knitting. Loved spending time with family, friends and especially grandkids and great grandkids. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and friend. She was a stay-at-home mom taking care of the family, volunteering for numerous activities for her kids.

She began working when her kids were older and retired from the School District in 2007 as the head baker at the Central Kitchen. In 2020 her and Jerry became snowbirds in Arizona and loved to play shuffleboard.

Preceded in death by her parents John and Phyllis Richardson and brothers Ryan and Wade Richardson. 

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; Daughter, Christine (Lane); Sons, Kelly (Renee), and Stacey; Grandchildren, Schelby (Justin), Justin (Samantha), Mona, Rebecca, Camren (Haley), Landon, and Laura; Great-grandchildren; Chance, Mason, Maggie, Damien, Lucas, Blakely, and Ella; Brothers, Rourke (Audrey), Kent (Sue), Kory (Laurie); Sisters, Angela (Kent) and Rhonda (Jeff); along with several nieces and nephews.
