Phillip James Hollandsworth, son of Stacy (Freeland) and Courtney “Court” Hollandsworth, was born October 4, 2005 in Missoula, Montana. He was born with developmental challenges but with his caring family he was able to live a life full of love and experiences. Phillip graduated from Sentinel High School in 2024; he had great teachers and caretakers throughout his schooling journey.
Phillip was a sweet boy who had a sense of humor. He enjoyed lovingly pinching you, using his slinky to get your attention, or trying to scare you; his presence truly lit up the room. He enjoyed listening to rock and jazz music with his Grandpa Rick, Gram’s backrubs, and falling asleep listening to the birds. Phillip loved being in the water, whether it was at Flathead Lake or a local pool. He was blessed with two loving and caring sisters, Megan and Shannon, they were the best sisters he could have wished for. Phillip loved just sitting with his dad, Court, and getting his feet tickled by his mom, Stacy. He made Hollandsworth’s house a home. The family recently took a vacation and rented a cabin in Virginia City, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Above all else, Phillip was a special boy who made an impact on so many lives in his 19 years. He will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Stacy and Court Hollandsworth; sisters, Megan and Shannon Hollandsworth, maternal grandparents, Richard and Patricia Freeland; paternal grandparents, James and Barbara Hollandsworth; extended family and a large church family.
