Ronald Miller Magnussen

14 hours ago(0) CommentsMISSOULA – Ron Miller Magnussen, 76, of Missoula, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013, at St. Patrick Hospital of natural causes.

He was born Aug. 29, 1936, in Chula Vista, Calif., to John and Ilene Magnussen. He married his wife Darlene Stumvoll on July 19, 1963, and then moved to Missoula. They had two children, Johnna and John, born April 28, 1964.

Ron was a member of the National Guard, and an auto mechanic most of his life. He loved cars and took pride in all he knew about them. He could fix anything when it came to cars. Above all Ron was a great storyteller. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife Darlene; sister Cornelia and her family; daughters Johnna and Kathy and family; son John; stepson Bob and stepdaughters Bell, Edie, Vira, Vina, BlueSky and Rose and their families.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Missoula City Cemetery.
