Obituary for Ronald L. McCauley

Ronald Lee McCauley, 73, of Missoula, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016, of natural causes.

He was born on June 2, 1942, in Big Timber to William and Violet McCauley. He graduated from Brady High School in 1960.

He married the love of his life, Sharon Ann Young on Aug. 10, 1962, in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. They had three children, Robert, Jody and Cindy.

He drove truck most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crystal hunting and loved, loved spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa.

He cold always make people laugh. He had a great sense of humor.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Missoula; two sons, a daughter and their families, Robert (Chantel) McCauley of St. Ignatius, Jody McCauley of Missoula, Cindy (Gene) Pedersen of Missoula; brother Jerry McCauley of Seattle; grandchildren, Brittany (Merad) Nuxall of Anchorage, Sean (Veronica) McCauley of Roseburg, Oregon, Cody Raymond of Anchorage, Ethan McCauley of St. Ignatius; two great-grandkids, Lukas Nuxall of Anchorage and Taryn McCauley of Roseburg and one on the way from Alaska; sister-in-law Betty Harris of Missoula and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life to follow at a later date.

Ron always said, "It's not good bye, it's so long for now."
