Rose Kerr

MISSOULA - Rosie (Rose) Kerr was born to Fred and Katherina (Katie) Maier in Vananda, Rosebud County, on March 4, 1918.





On May 20, 2009, after a few years of struggles with health issues, Rose left us.





Rose is survived by her children Betty (Wilfred) Kucera, Shirley Dolloff and Warren (Irena) Oie; grandchildren Gwen, Cynthia (Patrick), Julie (Mark), Sam (Lorraine), Wally (Morgan), Annika, Jeffrey and Katherina; five great-grandchildren, Boyd, Rose and Ryan, Liam and Ialen; and her siblings Eva, Ella, Herbert, Art, Pauline and Lillian. She was precious to our hearts and will be greatly missed.





Viewing will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday May 27, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tom Krantz officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held following the service in the funeral home’s community room.
