Sandra Wilde

Sandra “Sandy” Boelter Wilde, 69, of Huson, MT, passed away in Missoula, MT, on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at St. Patrick Hospital.

Sandy was born on June 23, 1955, in Butte, MT. She attended Butte Public Schools, graduating from Butte High School in 1973. After graduation, Sandy attended Montana Tech for two years.

On December 18, 1982, Sandy and Wayne Wilde were married. Spending the next 42 years building their life together and eventually moving to Huson, MT. It was in Huson, where together they built a home on a mountain where they raised their two sons, Sean and Tyler.

Sandy loved reading, needlework, river floating and living on her special mountain. She also loved hummingbirds, and often could be found watching them gather at the feeders she had set out.

Sandy was a loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be remembered by all, for her appreciation of her family, her witty sense of humor, her intelligence, and the support she always provided.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phyllis and Herb Uhtoff, and sister Tina. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Wayne; sons Sean Wilde and Tyler Wilde of Missoula ; sister Tracie (Tom) Whitehead of Loon Lake, WA; brother-in-law David (Judy) Wilde, and Tom Whitehead; her grandson Carter Ward and many nieces.
