Sharon Lynn Redfield

August 16, 1961 — February 3, 2023

Sharon Lynn (Flankey) Redfield, beloved Daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away unexpectedly and went to be with her lord and savior on February 3rd, 2023, at the age of 61.

Sharon was Born on August 16th, 1961, in Lewistown, MT to George and Evelyn Flankey, due to her father’s air force career Sharon moved around a lot throughout her life. some of the places Sharon lived included Colorado Springs, California even as far as turkey before coming back to Montana where she attended school in Great Falls until she graduated in 1980. Sharon then started working with the park service. During that time, she was blessed with her first son.

In September of 1992 she met the love of her life Robert Redfield at a friend’s house. They were married in August of 1994. Five years later they were blessed with a second son. When her son started kindergarten Sharon started her career at Franklyn elementary school where she worked as a school aid for 10 plus years. During this time, she welcomed her third son.

Sharon was a devoted christian, she loved attending service at the church of the gates and helping in the nursey. Some of Sharon’s life joys were creating stained glass art, crocheting, painting rocks, camping, and going fishing. But her biggest joys in life were seeing her three boys grow into such great men and seeing the birth of her granddaughter.

Sharon is survived by her Husband Robert Redfield Jr Missoula, son Chris (Kacie Blunt) Flankey Missoula, son Robbie (Katie) Redfield, Granddaughter Lilly Redfield Missoula, son Daniel Redfield Bozeman, her mother Evelyn Flankey Missoula, Sister Debra Flankey Missoula, Sister Ellen Frazier Spokane, Brother Richard (Shelly) Flankey East Missoula, and Many Nieces and nephews.

Sharon is Preceded in death by her father George Flankey and Niece Jasmine Flankey.

Sharon’s wishes were to be cremated and placed at the pointed rocks cemetery in twin bridges. There will be a service for Sharon on February 11th at the church of the gates in Missoula at 1pm with a reception at the Depot from 3pm-5pm.
