Susan W. Roloff

Susan W. Roloff, 89, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 in Missoula, Montana.

She was born on September 19, 1936 to Charles and Doris Webster in Grand Island, Nebraska. Susan graduated from high school in Parsons, Kansas in 1954, and then attended University of Missouri in Columbia. There she met Glenn Roloff while he was earning his degree in forestry. They married in 1956 and raised two children, daughter Kathy and son Charles.

Glenn’s job with the U.S. Forest Service took them to California, Illinois, Missoula, and Bismarck, North Dakota; they transferred back to Missoula in 1987.

Susan fondly remembered summers as a child at her grandparents’ farm in northern Missouri, and their Christian faith. She kept that seed of faith in her heart for many years and made her choice to serve God when she began attending gospel services in Missoula in 1975. She loved to read her Bible and share her faith with others.

She loved her grandchildren. She also was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time in Yellowstone National Park.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband Glenn, and her parents. She is survived by daughter Kate Guschausky (Dan Solum), son Chuck (Shirley); grandchildren Matt Guschausky, Tom (Nikki) Guschausky, Steve (Candy) Roloff, Val (Cody) Woods, Devin (Laurel) Roloff, and nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Garden City Funeral Home in Missoula on Tuesday, December 23 at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at Missoula City Cemetery.
