Tammi Elaine Wakefield

Tammi Elaine Wakefield, 65, of Missoula, Montana, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Providence St. Patrick Hospital following a brief period of declining health.

Tammi was born February 11, 1958, the second daughter of Alan and Vivian Wakefield. Tammi moved around a bit after high school before returning to Missoula in the early 90’s. Tammi could be described as somebody who is easy to talk to, this was an important skill to have in her customer service related jobs, most recently working as a customer service agent for DirectTV.

Tammi loved to be at home, keeping her time filled with crafting, crocheting, cooking and baking. The most important thing that Tammi spent time doing was loving on her family and her animals. She had a special relationship with her nieces and nephews, sometimes referring to them as her children.  She always remembered birthday and special events. Many will miss Tammi’s sense of humor, and even her sarcasm. She was truly a loved lady and will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sisters: Debby Wagner, Cindy (Steve) Jensen, and Diana Wakefield; her nieces and nephews: Michael, Christopher, Greggory and Jennifer Wagner, Ryan Wakefield and Carlysse Jensen; her great niece Allanah Wagner; her lifelong friend Deanna Ridenour;  and her special companions: Cooper Anderson (the dog) and Tommy Lee Jones (the cat).

Tammi was preceded in death by her parents Alan and Vivian (Nee: Eberhardt) Wakefield and her companions of many years Cinder (the dog) and Oscar (the cat).
