Tana Alisen Faas, daughter of Alfred and Delores (Pedersen) Turner, was born August 13, 1955 in Seattle, Washington.  She attended schools in the Seattle area and graduated from Shorecrest High School in 1973. Tana met the love of her life, Bradley Faas, and the couple was united in marriage on August 20, 1977 in Seattle.

Tana worked throughout her life caring for children with her at home daycare as well as teaching ceramics.  Later in life she carried out her passion as a Craft Instructor with her various friends whom felt like family.  She was a talented artist in various areas such as painting, ceramics, landscaping as well as creating and teaching classes for her special homemade cards.  Tana had a true gift and passion for helping others find their artistic abilities and was a pillar of strength, guidance and spirituality .  She was the family go-to to for anything, especially special projects and holiday cheer, which lead her to collecting her people everywhere she went.  Tana also had a green thumb and took great care of her garden.  She enjoyed playing Scrabble, Rummy and Pinochle with friends and family.  Tana’s family was her pride and joy and she cherished spending time with her grandchildren.  Above all else Tana devoted her love fiercely and everyone who knew her felt it.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She will be missed more than words can convey and we will carry her with us forever.  She touched many peoples lives more than she could know and we will spend our days carrying on her spirit.
