Vicki Jones

Vicki Jones, 79, of Missoula, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Vicki was born on August 8, 1946, in Tooele, Utah, to Peter and Theo (Adams) Conder. She graduated from Tooele High School in 1964. Vicki spent much of her career as a computer programmer at the Tooele Army Depot, for the United States Army at the base in Tooele, where she was known for her intelligence, dedication, and strong work ethic.

On March 25, 1977, Vicki married Carl Jones Sr. on March 25, 1977 and together they welcomed two sons, Carl and Nick. Vicki’s greatest joy in life was being a mother. She was deeply devoted to her boys and showed her love in countless ways, always putting her family first and making sure her home was filled with warmth, stability, and care.

Vicki took pride in everything she did. She kept a beautiful home and an immaculate yard, with flower gardens that reflected her patience and attention to detail. She had a tender heart for animals, a sweet tooth, and enjoyed quiet moments playing cards or working on crossword puzzles. Above all, Vicki will be remembered for her kindness and the love she gave so freely as a wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Carl (Gary Watkins) Jones Jr. and Nick (Camille Barraclough) Jones; her sister, Janice Whichelo; as well as her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Theo Conder; her husband, Carl Jones Sr.; her brothers, Jack Conder and Pete Conder; and her sisters, Maxine Conder, Betty Park, and Theo Palmer.
