William “Bill” Vinner, 65, of Missoula passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at his home.  No services are planned at this time per his wishes.  Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.

William Stephen Vinner, son of Lou and Bertha (Sisgold) Vinner, was born June 12, 1958 in Washington D.C.  He attended school at High Point High School in Beltsville, Maryland.  After leaving school he began his career in landscaping and tree work.  Bill enjoyed the outdoors and spent most of his working career outside.  Besides working outdoors, he was employed and was a familiar face at the Silver Dollar Bar, Missoula, for close to 20 years.

Bill enjoyed poetry and art; he was a talented drawer. He loved making people laugh and had very clever jokes.  Bill was a type of person who never met a stranger.  He was a free spirit who left an impression on everyone he met.  Bill liked to say he did it “His Way”. He was lovingly known as “Chink” and enjoyed a good beer.  Above all else, he was a devoted brother, uncle, great uncle and friend who will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Sharon Vinner; Norman Vinner; nieces, Caitlin Vinner; Abby Vinner; Rose (Craig) Gurnicz; nephew, Justin (Angela) Vinner; great niece, Elizabeth; great nephews, Cooper and Dylan; extended family and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Lou and Bertha Vinner.
